White
White is much more than the first half of photography. It is white that defines all other colors and at the same time puts them into perspective – including black. It is white that enchants vast stretches of our landscapes in winter; it is white that makes our eyes sparkle and our teeth flash. Without white, no popularity of the zebra; without white, no pope and no checkmate. And of course, white is the color of the bride, of purity, of medicine and spray. And even the sun will one day end up as a White Dwarf.
